* KDA Associates was the only consultant employed by the National Insurance Commission to investigate the funding of pensions schemes of Federal Government agencies and authorities ( parastatals). One of the recommendations contained was the compulsion of pension schemes in Nigeria and establishment of a commission to regulate employee benefits.


* KDA Associates has made meaningful contributions in the drafting of new Pension Reform Bill. One of such written by our Mr. K.D Adesina was published in the Punch Newspapers of 29 January, 2004.


* We have the honour and privilege of being the only firm of Actuaries, Statisticians, Employee Benefits, Financial and Management Consultants in Nigeria accorded recognition as resource firm/persons by the Office of Head of Civil Service of the Federation, the Presidency and the World Bank (EMCAP) for the purposes of the just concluded National Enlightenment/Campaign Workshop/Training on the Contributory, Pension Reform Act 2004.

This was already conducted for the North West and North East, Western and Southern Zones of Nigeria at Sokoto, Bauchi, Ibadan and Calabar respectively.


* Our Senior Consultants/Managing Partner, Mr. K.D Adesina was the Chairman for the communiques issued during the all-country National Enlightenment/Campaign Training Workshop sponsored by the World Bank (EMCAP). One of the communiqués issued at the workshops is recommendation to all pension funds to comply with the provisions of the Act and carry out immediate actuarial valuation of their schemes.


* Prepared acceptable business plan submitted to the National Pension Commission for the establishment of a pension fund administration company (CRIB Pension Fund Managers Limited) by a consortium of insurance brokers under the aegis of the Council of Registered Insurance Brokers of Nigeria, the umbrella body for the regulation of insurance brokerage businesses in Nigeria.
